Horse Play Fall Festival Sponsored by Indianhead

For several years, Indianhead has donated compost in support of Horse Plays site needs. For 2023, Indianhead decided to give more and support the worthy efforts by the center.

HorsePlay Therapy Center is hosting a fundraising event, “6th Annual HorsePlay Fall Festival,” on October 14, 2023 from 11:30am - 4:00pm at our barn in St. Augustine, located at 1925 SR 207. This event will help us raise the necessary funds to cover scholarships for our patients who are unable to pay for services, as well as to cover expenses for caring for our team of horses and maintaining the barn and our therapy facilities. The 6th Annual HorsePlay Fall Festival will bring together our local community for a fun family day to enjoy the barn, pony rides, live music,bounce houses, games, face painting, arts & crafts, pumpkin patch, and inspire them with our mission!

HorsePlay Therapy Center is the only nonprofit in Northeast Florida offering a medical model of Hippotherapy (physical therapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy on horseback) for children with special needs such as Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Traumatic Brain Injury, Sensory Processing Disorder, and genetic disorders.

Additionally, through our RISE UP FOR VETERANS program, we serve Veterans suffering from PTSD, Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), abuse trauma, and military hazing trauma. No child or Veteran is denied treatment utilizing horses based on their insurance status or ability to pay.
